Meet Adrienne Filippone
Barn Manager / Head Instructor
Adrienne Filippone grew up in New Jersey and started her riding career at 8 years old. Her experience with horses began at a large public lesson barn, Watchung Stables, where she was a student for 10 years, and worked as a groom and volunteered as a junior instructor through high school. After graduating private school from the Morristown Beard School in Morristown, NJ, Adrienne attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA studying animal science and equine management. During the years she spent in Blacksburg, Adrienne worked for Coach of National and World Champion youth and adult amateur riders, breed and versatility trainer, and completed her certification for Equine Interactive Counseling ™ with Deb Dyer.
Adrienne has traveled on the Grand Prix jumper circuit with top level riders and international coaches as a rider and groom. She has managed show and lesson barns for over 20 years, and has taught riders in multiple disciplines for almost 30 years.
